Mr Sedin Idrizović was born in 1978 in Sarajevo, where
he completed primary and secondary school. He graduated from the Faculty of
Law, University of Sarajevo, in 2002.
He completed his legal internship at the Municipal
Court in Sarajevo (2003-2005), and passed the bar exam before the Commission of
the Ministry of Justice FBiH in 2005.
After passing the bar exam, he worked as a legal
associate in the Criminal Department of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo from
2005 to 2007. Between 2007 and 2009, he served as a legal advisor and Head of
the Legal Department of the Criminal Division of the Court of Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
From 2009 to 2013, he worked as a judge in the
Criminal Department of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, and from 2013 to 2019,
he served as a prosecutor at the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In 2019, he was appointed as a judge in the Criminal Department of the Supreme
Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a position he continues to
hold.
He has published multiple professional and academic
papers in the field of criminal law and has participated and lectured at
numerous professional seminars and conferences.
In October 2024, the judges of the Supreme Court of
the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina elected Judge Sedin Idrizović as a
member of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, and he assumed the position in February 2025.
