    HJPC BiH i appointed holders of judicial office

    15.10.2010.

    At the meeting held on 13 and 14 October 2010 in Sarajevo, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council BiH (HJPCBiH),  delivered decisions on appointments of judicial functions in BiH.  

    For the area of Brčko District BiH the following position has been filled:

    • Grčević Jadranko, president of the Magistrate Court of Brčko District BiH

    In the Federation BiH the following persons have been appointed:

    • Bakić-Šolbić Šejla, judge at the Municipal Court in Visoko; 
    • Alibegović Amel, judge at the Municipal Court in Travnik; 
    • Veladžić Edis, assistant judge at the Municipal Court in Velika Kladuša; 
    • Kapić Adnan, assistant judge at the Municipal Court in Velika Kladuša; 
    • Blagojević Dragan, judge at the Municipal Court in Cazin; 
    • Novaković Božanka judge at the Municipal Court in Bosanska Krupa.

    At the meeting, appointments made in Republika Srpska have been made as follows:

    • Balotić Mileva, judge at the Municipal Court in Zvornik; 
    • Savić Slavko, judge at the Municipal Court in Zvornik.

    Position of international prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office BiH was also decided at the meeting and Marjan Pogačnik from Slovenia was appointed.

    At the same time, decisions on appointment to the following positions have been made:

    • Jovanović Saša, prosecutor at the Cantonal Prosecution Office in Sarajevo; 
    • Ratković Miloš, prosecutor at the Cantonal Prosecution Office in Sarajevo; 
    • Gačanović Ermin, prosecutor at the Cantonal Prosecution Office in Sarajevo; 
    • Topalović Aida, prosecutor at the Cantonal Prosecution Office in Sarajevo.

    When deciding upon these appointments, the HJPCBiH has taken into consideration criteria such as: expert knowledge, working experience and performance results; relevant skills based on work results in the career so far; ability to conduct his/her duties impartially, conscientiously, diligently, decisively and responsibly within the framework of the function he/she is applying for; interpersonal skills, conduct outside work, professional impartiality, reputation and experience at leading positions.

    Appointed holders of judicial office shall assume their positions on 1 November 2010, while the starting date decision for the international prosecutor shall be delivered by the Office of the Registrar BiH.
